Lunchtime is between 12:00 and 1:00pm for EYFS and KS1 and 12:15 – 1:00pm for KS2. Lunch is eaten in the hall, where good manners and table etiquette are encouraged. The children are cared for by our Midday Supervisors throughout the lunch break, in the hall and on the playground. Our Midday Supervisors are always on the lookout for children who are well mannered, kind, polite and helpful so Golden Tickets can be awarded.
Our hot lunches are provided by Willoughby Foods.
The cost per meal is £2.30 and lunches to be ordered via the Willoughby Foods website and then logging in via their parent login section.
If you have any queries regarding ordering please contact Willoughby Foods directly
Parents do not have to pay for school lunches if they receive a range of income based benefits. If you feel that you may qualify, please speak to staff in the School Office.
It is currently Government policy for all children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 to receive free meals. This is different from “Free School Meals”. Parents are still required to order meals in advance as described above.
Playleaders from Year 5 and 6 organise fun games and activities at lunchtimes for younger children to enjoy. The Playleaders can earn golden tickets for giving up their lunchtime.
At lunchtime we have a reading table, lots of play equipment and play leaders who make up games and activities for the children to join in with.
Our children are clearly enjoying their hot lunches from Willoughby Foods.
